Story from Colin Cairns

The CAWG conducted a sampling of Hyde Pond streams on April 29, 2010.  The sampling was done at: a stream above the pond, the pond itself, a stream below the pond and at the tidal estuary below the lagoon.

Sampling was conducted by the Environmental and Applied Science Technology program from Holland College,  and the sampling exercise was lead by Brian O'Neill (Holland College Instructor of the Environmental and Applied Science Technology program) and mysefl (Colin Cairns).

Brian was in charge of instructing the teams who were sampling the streams and I was in charge of sampling from the boat in the pond and tidal estuary.

CAWG used its email list to inform members about the event and member Linda Gibson was present as group photographer.
